2 motorcyclists killed in Dinajpur road crash

Two youths were killed as a motorcycle hit a tractor in Birganj upazila of Dinajpur on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Md Jahangir Alam, 30, son of Ibrahim Ali, hailing from Kcharipara village at Nijpara union of the upazila and Md Abul Hossain, 32, son of late Emaj Uddin, from the same area.

Confirming the news, Md Abdul Matin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Birganj Police Station, said that the motorcycle on which Jahangir and Abul were riding hit the tractor in Prembazar area of Nijpara union at 9:00 pm, leaving two motorbikers injured.

Later, locals took the injured to Birganj Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared them dead.
